Welcome to our first newsletter!

We hope this letter finds everyone in good health and busy in the garden.

It's Spring in Maine and everything is popping in our gardens! I don't know about you, but this was a very long Winter. Terri and I spent some time in the Sedona area of Arizona last December, and we were ready to go back by January! We really like building water features and it's hard to stop when the ground freezes in December here in Maine. We took the trip for two reasons. First, we haven't had a vacation in over ten years. Second, we would like to be able to keep playing in the garden a little through the winter. The ground doesn't freeze in Sedona and the surrounding area. So, we are going to give it a try this winter. If you haven't been to the Grand Canyon yet, GO! It's a life changing experience.

 Plant Sale

One of the most important ways of keeping our water gardens clean, healthy, and beautiful is the addition of water plants. They act as filters that compete with algae for nutrients. They are half the filter equation, so don't skimp.

We are offering bundles of 5 plants of the same value for the price of 4. They are in 3 groups: lilies , standard marginal plants, (the ones in shallow water usually on the edge of your water garden), and larger specimens of marginals.

Click above and visit our water plants list to select your bundles. Please call by the 15th of May to get this special pricing.

Don't forget to get your bacteria, and we hope to get everyone using test strips to check Ph, alkalinity, and hardness. This will allow us to serve you better.

Enjoy your Spring, and look for more informative newsletters on topics such as algae and other water quality issues!!
